🔹 Indications:Excessive gas formation and accumulation in the GI tract (colic, bloating, flatulence, Remheld syndrome, aerophagia)
Preparation for abdominal and pelvic diagnostic procedures (X-ray, ultrasound, gastroscopy, duodenoscopy) — to prevent foam formation.
Effect: Simethicone breaks down gas bubbles, making them easier to expel. It does not affect gut flora, enzymes, or nutrient absorption. 🔹 Directions for use:Take orally after meals. Shake the bottle well before use until a uniform emulsion is obtained. Hold the bottle vertically during dosing. Dosage:
👶 Under 2 years: 8 drops (20 mg) — 4 times daily
👧 2 to 6 years: 14 drops (35 mg) — 4 times daily
👦👨 Over 6 years and adults: 16 drops (40 mg) — 4 times daily
Can be mixed with a small amount of cool boiled water, baby food, or non-carbonated liquid.
